Bad Dudes VS. DragonNinja - Japanese ending (Arcade version)

This is the ending of DragonNinja, the Japanese version of Bad Dudes Vs. DragonNinja (or simply Bad Dudes). The ending is different compared to the English version. If you can't read the text on the statue, it reads "DragonNinja".

I requested Eien Ni Hen of romhacking.net a translation of this ending, and here is her English translation of it. It's pretty much more accurate than the ones below:

"Thank you.
I'm safe because of you.
I hope everything goes
well for you in the future!"

Here is what Reagan said in text format:

ありがとう

おかけで助かった

これからも

がんばってくれ。

And here is what the translator by Excite.co.jp gave:

"Thank you.

It survived by putting.

In the future

Please hold out."

Next, I asked someone name ApacheMan2K who knows Japanese and English to translate it and he or she said "this might be an approximate translation":

"Thank you for saving me. But, keep fighting on after this."

He also said "This isn't the exact translation, but the hiragana does indicate that the speaker is indeed thanking the player, and telling him to keep it up after the player's rescued the speaker."

Before I asked Eien Ni Hen, I asked another translator name truthquest what President Ronnie is saying, and truthquest responded:

"ありがとう means, thanks.

おかけで助かった means,,, I owe you a big one. Or, I appreciate your help.

これからもがんばってくれ means,,, I'm sure you gonna work it out well."

Well, Michael Jackson meeting Ronald Reagan was popular, Bad Dudes VS. DragonNinja was inspired by Technos Japan's Double Dragon and especially Sega's Shinobi (both released in 1987), and the Genesis/Mega Drive and Master System versions of Michael Jackson's Moonwalker are similar to Shinobi, which are both about saving children in similar stages.

I love how in neither versions that Reagan looks nothing like the actual Ronald Reagan lol. But i have to say, the jap version is closer, kind of sad that the american version has to do with burgers and has a shitty drawing of Reagan...OH WHAT AM I SAYING, ITS AMERICA DAMMIT >:D
