I have dedicated myself to a goal of getting rock solid abs since March 2010, but I am still struggling to obtain it. Although I can give my advice on how I have lost 22.6 lbs, I am in need of additional advice on how to lose the tire that is still creeping on my body.
What I have done to help lose weight.
1. Workout with P90x - (Workout: Very disciplined) - Day 1 Results: 148 lbs, Day 90 Results: 129, Lost 19 lbs - opinion: works wonders, but very exhausting
2. Workout with Insanity - (Workout: Moderately disciplined) - Day 1 Results: 129 lbs, Day 90 Results: 138, Gained 7 lbs - opinion: did not help me much, workouts were shorter and I had problem curbing my diet.
3. Workout at UPS as Loader (Workout: Moderately disciplined) - Day 1 Results: 136 lbs, Week 12 Results: 125 lbs, Lost: 11 lbs (Error in video - 2 lbs) - opinion: worked wonders for me. At first I didn't see results but then I started to see positive changes due to dieting techniques.
What else helped the most?
Note: It appears diet is 60-70% of losing weight, workout is about :30-40% of losing weight*** KEY: DIET IS KEY!!!
1. Focus on eating something that allows you to control yourself from overeating. Eating a portion of candy, and Drinking pop - Counterintuitive results: I was never big into drinking pop or eating candy but very big into eating 3 to 4 plate full of pure carbs. But I could feel satisfied with eating candy and drinking a can of pop everyone now and then. So thus I lost a lot of weight.
2. Avoid places of indulgence where there is FOOD! A job that is physically intensive is important to how I lost weight. A. You avoid the place of indulgence - your home. B. You may not get very large muscles but expect very solid results because of the intense workout.
Questions for others: I still can't seem to get pure washboard abs. I know I cannot spot reduce, so I am curious if anyone knows of any lifestyle changes, diet changes, or workouts that could really help me chisel my abs just a little more.

I am currently looking for talented singers/songwriters to do vocal covers for various songs that I have produced and possibly modify verses and collaborate with me. Business inquiries at manhopark@hotmail.com.

Have you tried counting calories? :)

@kottsork I have not been very obsessive about counting calories, I just eat when I am hungry. But I have curbed my caloric intake cause of several factors. I know I can count calories but if I am hungry I get really bothered by not being able to eat. Generally speaking I think this is why I till have a hard time losing the weight that I wanted to lose.

I've actually been reading up more on fitness techniques, and I have some compiled guides that I found very informative. I can send you the links if you like.
