GALEMA: ANAK NI ZUMA (FULL TEASER)

At an early age Zuma was sent to the Great Temple of Kukulkan as a student and who eventually ordained as a priest. When Zuma reached the age of 21, his uncle Ahuitzotl, who poisoned Zuma's father to usurp the Aztec throne, had sent his youngest daughter Tezcalco to the Great Temple of Kukulkan to be sacrificed. But Zuma who immediately fell in love with her spared her life and together they plotted to kill Ahuitzotl. They executed the killing at the temple but made it appear as an accident.
Zuma was elected as the new Aztec emperor with the title of "Motecuhzoma Xocoyotzin". During his reign he had brought a lot of military victories, economic changes, and stopped corruption. But when the Spanish colonizers led by Hernan Cortez arrived, he was misled to believe that Hernan Cortez was the returning Kukulkan as prophesied. So instead of attacking them, Zuma welcomed the colonizers into the city and bribed them of all gold and many other gifts, let them stay at his father's house, and invited Cortez and a select few of his men to visit him at his palace where Cortez placed him under arrest with the help of his own treacherous daughter Malinche (christened as Leonor Marina). In an effort to please Cortez and get rid of him at the end, Zuma lavished gifts on them, played games with them in his gardens, he served them, had the temples cleaned of any traces of the sacrifices and had statues of the Virgin Mary erected instead of the altars. He converted to Christianity and swore allegiance to Spain. By that, his people hated and despised him for becoming a weakling, humbling himself before the invading creatures. And when Zuma came out to calm a riot, he was stoned by his own people. As Zuma covered his most beloved 10-year old daughter Tecuichpochtzin(who was christened as Isabel), he was hit on his forehead by a stone coming from the slingshot of Cuauhtémoc, the leader of the mob. The dying Zuma was brought to the Great Temple of Kukulkan and was put at the altar as a sacrifice to appease the god. Zuma cursed all his people and promised revenge. They took his heart out and when they were about to decapitate his head an earthquake occured followed by volcanic eruption. The Great Temple of Kukulkan was eaten by the earth together with Zuma. Through the years, the said pyramid was buried until it was unearthed by an archaeological expedition. Maya (Alessandra de Rossi), the head mistress of the archaeological expedition is secretly the reincarnation of Zuma's wife, Tezcalco. Through her incantations and carnal rituals, Zuma was resurrected but transformed into a serpent demon with bald head and green skin and giant two-headed snake which he wore on his neck and rest on his shoulders. Unleashed into the modern world, he went on a murderous rampage. Maya eventually bore him a daughter, Galema (Anne Curtis). But Maya who was transformed into a naga after she had given birth to Galema vanished to the sea. Galema looked almost human, but she was born with a two-headed snake around her neck like her father. Ironically, she held the key to her father's downfall. As Zuma held up his daughter, her snakes bit him. As it turned out, Galema's venom was toxic to her own father. Zuma appeared to die, and it seemed as though his reign of terror had ended. But only for a while. Zuma's body was brought to the Philippines. And the couple Isabel (Snooky Serna) and Philip (PJ Abellana), who had found the infant Galema, took the infant and adopted her as their own daughter. Years later, Zuma had awakened from his hibernation to resume his war on humanity. His arch-nemesis turned out to be his now grown-up daughter Galema. Zuma sired another child, Dino, by a crazy woman. Dino has the body of a normal boy but the head, fins, feet, and tail of a crocodile. Dino grew up with incredible strength. Zuma utilized him to strike terror among the townspeople. For a time Dino stood by the side of his father but later turned against him as he fall in love with a mortal woman. Galema, who is married to a mortal man Morgan (Jericho Rosales), the reincarnation of Cuauhtémoc, and her twin offspring, an albino snake, helped the townspeople to capture Dino. Dino was placed in a steel cage. Galema tried to win over Dino to help her fight Zuma, but before she could do so, Zuma killed Dino. Zuma, in turn, was bitten by the albino snake and fall dead. But Maya riding on Kukulkan rose from the sea and resurrected Zuma with far greater power and strength for the final battle. ABANGAN SA PRIMETIME BIDA... GALEMA: ANAK NI ZUMA!
