Of course religion is a choice. They appear to both be choices at their core. I suppose you lean to that because attraction causes more overt chemical reactions in the body.
Still one cant do a multi-gene pair map like you can with albinism or eye color. There doesnt appear to be a direct trend in ancestry like when something is typically genetic. We see rises in homosexuality in situational areas like prisons or child abuse cases. It's certainly not genetic.
