It is sometimes forgotten that the early Christians associated Jesus with the Sun. Among the church fathers, Cyprian speaks of Christ as Sol Verus, the "true sun," and Ambrose names him Sol Novus Noster, "our new sun". An interesting fact revealed in the old Roman calendars is that on the 25th of December each year they commemorated the new birth of Sol Invictus, the "unconquered sun." These early Christians used many hymns addressed to the Christ-Sun or to the Christos-Spirit, or to the Logos or Word. These terms were taken from the ancient Greek Mysteries; and the composition of these hymns, and the words could easily be construed as hymns to the sun. Which indeed was exactly what they were.

  • @GnosticHumanist

    Fish is a symbol of the Vagina, you see the Creator created the SON, because our FATHER had sex, and placed his Penis, in the Cave of Creation, the term "Create" is from latin "Ceres" meaning "To Grow" ... "Erection", or the "Re-erection" > Resurrection of the Penis, you see, "Sun-Son" is a Double Pun

  • Nailing a jew as the "son" of creation to the ancient solar sun symbol (cross) is nothing more than deceptive jewry. Christianity was/is a creation for the jews to control the goyim. In clouding their minds with the lies of the Christian church, Bible and symbolism, the goyim loses his/her place in consciousness to the natural passages of time (solstice/equinox) and therefore is easier to control and manipulate to the desire of the parasite jew whose greed and lust is never fulfilled.

  • You know the Sun/Son thing only works in English? It doesn't translate that way in any other language. Just putting the truth out there....

  • @GnosticHumanist Rome choose the pagan date, the orthodox celebrate the birth of christ on Jan. 6, there never said that the fish represented Jesus, the early christians used the fish to represent christianity, for the Apostles were fishermen of man. there is no such thing as piscis or aquarius age, that is new age doctrine.

    Brothers and sisters, our Lord Jesus Christ is soon to return and you will give account of this blasphemies against Him.

  • @GnosticHumanist if you read the early documents you would find out the even the Apostle John condemned this heresy, just as the early church did and still do

  • @ecupatriarchate

    Why do you think that the date of the Pagan winter solstice festival celebrating the "re-birth of the sun" was chosen as the birth-date of Christ?

    Why is Jesus represented by a fish? Because he represents the age of Pisces. He even says the end of his rule will be when you see the man with the water pitcher; ie: Aquarius.

    It's such an obvious astrological allegory.

  • @ecupatriarchate

    Actually there is absolutely NO historical record of Jesus other than one mention which was clearly added much later and every historian on the face of the planet, including Christian, agrees it's an obvious forgery.

    What we DO know is that during that time there were plenty of Gnostic preachers who were inspired by Zoroastrianism and other similar religions (which are nearly identical to the Christian story) who were claiming to be prophets.

    Jesus = THE SUN!!

  • Funny how the date of the traditional pagan festival worshipping the "re-birth of the sun" was chosen to celebrate Jesus' supposed birth: Christmas!

  • There is more sources like the roman reports in different locations the sky became night and they could see the stars and an earthquake the day that Jesus was crucified and died.

  • @ecupatriarchate Problem is, besides jewish sources, there are no other references until much later...
