@UberLogic: You said, "You make a good point but fail to apply it completely. All religion twists and distorts the texts to make them say what they want them to." Congrats! You just eliminated language itself. So when Jesus says no one can enter the kingdom unless he is born again that is open for discussion? Seems like a clear statement to me. Also, you seem to be an atheist. Since you cannot provide any meaningful reason as to why it is wrong to believe mythology I'd be quiet.

@raneroc Don't demonize any one. This video is a complete demonization of the other. By other I mean all colors and races of Pentecostals. Any time people leave a mainstream church to come to a Pentecostal Church, the pentecostals are demonized as being crazy. Any time Pentecostals--both leaders and church members--get any type of economic blessing, the pentecostals are demonized. If you've been a part of the Black church for a long time, then you should know how to cast out demons!

@warpspeedster I live in Brooklyn, the borough of church's, they might not be getting rich, but many live a very comfortable middle class suburban lifestyle. And most of them LOOOOVVEE Creflo Odalla and TD Jakes. Both of whom are guilty of materialism to the fullest. I don't want to demonize all Black pentocastal inner city pastors as being heritic sheep destroyers, but unfortunately many are..I've been apart of the Black church for a long time by the way

Youre argument really falls apart when you claim that people get rich off of preaching speaking in tongues and baptism in Jesus name. If you had studied history, you would know that this doctrine comes from the lower socioeconomic classes and is very similar to the views of many African-Americans. Maybe the common people are hearing the word gladly, but you would rather make false claims about this doctrine being a get rich quick scheme. Do a little research, and you'll disprove yourself.
A wicked man cannot undestand a good man. He cannot understand how he feels or thinks about things. He simply cannot relate. The more we trust Jesus by doing what he says the more we will understand how he thinks and feels about things. Character is the key to understanding; hermeneutics is important, but not as important as character. If Hitler followed the correct hermeneutical procedure would he rightly understand the Bible? No. "Justice" by George MacDonald. Godliness is the opener of eyes.

How would you know what Jesus means by what He says. I am thinking of His parables as an example. What do they mean? How do we know ANYTHING God does or does not want to do if we can't rightly divide His Word? The Bible alone is the Word of God. The Qur'an is NOT.

What is the difference between Mythology and Theology?
the followers.... that is it
Theology + time = mythology.

Yes, and I am waiting patiently for those who have not flushed their brains to wake up and realize the joke of evolution is a hubristic bit of mythology too.
It's just a matter of time.
