A lifetime of daily romps around the house have changed to a daily walk and bark. But there still are those rare occaisions when the old girl (14) will take to the old ritual and run.

  • No. I don't think we could replace her and trying would not be fair to a new spotted hound.. Soon after she died we received a call from the folks we got the Belgian from and we now have two. The first is about 15 months now and the pup is 5 months. They are great pals and entertain one another for hours. Thanks for your note.

  • how old is she my friend has a german shorthair who is about 16 and she still has it to

  • Unfortunately we lost her on July 7, 2008. She was 15 years, 1 month and 3 days... I had her since the day she was born and she was the sweetest dog we ever owned.. She went quick, and was active for all but about 1week before she died of kidney failure. It came on quick.

  • My 12 year old Dalmatian goes on like that x :)

  • Nothing is sadder and more heartbreaking in lfe than losing a dog. Im 31 and STILL very well remember my first dog, a german short hair named Booner, that died when I was 5.

  • Sorry for you, we lost our purebred, female Dalmation Aug 2009 after 15 years with us. Her hind legs became so weak she could no longer stand or walk anymore so the vet had to put her down. Her ashes are in an ern we keep on the mantle.

  • @TheAirsoftmadman - I am very sorry to hear that, but I believe, she enjoyed every minute of her life and will keep on living in your heart.

  • @Chiaraxxify shes dead

  • Oh Cutie, hope she still has lot of good times left and enjoys her days!

  • very nice dog!

have you always taken good care or her, or is this just her nature!! I run my lab/dalmation daily and she loves it! I am hoping she lives to 20!

  • Hey, my dalmation is 15, look at my page the vid is on there. Shes a lot fitter than she looks there, she had just woke up!

  • I lost mine almost 4 years ago poor girl I miss her

  • I lost my dalmatian Jake a few days ago. He was 13 1/2 years old, and was tired and weak most of the time... But, every once in a while he would have bursts of puppy energy just like that. She's beautiful. I wish you many more healthy and happy years with her.
