This is a student piece I made for an Intro to Video class in 2006 at the Illinois Institute of Art in Chicago.
I shot the footage and rotoscoped about 1900 frames. The process took a month. I used 50 black Primacolor pencils and 4 reams of paper.
Just recently, I decided to revisit the project to bring forth an HD version and also to add necessary post production elements that I didn't have time for the first time around.
I scanned each frame, color corrected, cleaned up messy backgrounds, re cropped, and even redrew a few scenes.
