no question that it is a supercell tornado. Does Spain get many tornadoes? I know they get a lot of thunder in summer but the air is often dry their.
-
anyone who thinks that's a dust devil needs to learn or get a new interest.
-
what kind of spanish are they speaking its not the regular spanish

@WickedTornado i don't think there's really any way to tell from this video if there is a parent meso above it. it really does look like a strong landspout. it's obviously very very dusty. that alone can short out transformers.

@CaptnHampton22 This was a full-on tornado formed from a meso-cyclone in the supercell above it. I would probably rate this at least EF-1 and possibly EF-2. What a spectacular video! Congrats to whoever filmed this.
And as far as it being a "hill-climber".....tornadoes are quite adept at doing so. Each spring in the deep south...as well as Arkansas....tornadoes will go uphill. It is weird to see, I'll grant you that.

good lord there were a lot of damn power flashes
-
sort of looked like a super strong land spout. either way this is the ONLY hill climbing tornado i've ever seen.
-
although deadly, tornadoes are one of the most fascinating occurances in nature in my opinion. The thought of something so massive and moving so quickly freaks me out every time I see one.
-
its raining so its not a dust devil
it looks kind of strong for a dust devil too
-
tornadoes don't discriminate, if you in it's way then thats your ass
is not a dust devil, is so powerful to be one of them. The fact that you cannot see the funnel cloud doesn't mean that it isnt' a tornado

This is one of the most, if not the most spectecular tornado footage ever in Europe. I particularly love the powerline flashes,
