Ok...so I took this vid down because I was worried about possible copyright issues...however I was asked by Eva to put it back up...so I have re-uploaded it. Sorry to all those who had already commented and/or rated it.

So anyways here is the description...again...because I didn't save what I had before so it may not be as good as the first one.

First off this wasn't really what I had in mind for the vid, but I was unable to find the happier clips I was going to use and the other song I wanted to use didnt work out...so this is what came of it. When I did this vid I had just heard of Eva's story a few hrs earlier through a link to 65 Redroses that a friend had sent me and I just couldnt get it out of my mind. I then read her blog and saw the vids on her YT account and like I said it wouldn't leave my mind so I was up all night and ended up making this. As many Youtubers do I vided as a way of expression...maybe thats part of the reason this vid came out sadder and pretty much the exact opposite of what I was going for

Anyways, to catch you up to speed...
Canadian Eva Markvoort has the genetic disease cystic fibrosis and has been struggling with it since she was young. When she was 23 she had a double lung transplant, but sadly two years later her body started rejecting her new lungs. She needs another transplant, but of course those things can take time. Well time is one of the issues here. On Feb. 11, 2010 she made a vid that she posted on her YT account saying she only had a few more days left to live (part of that clip/vid is in this vid), but she continues to show everyone her strength and has continued to hold on, taking it day by day, holding out hope for another transplant. I can only hope she gets it...
Nothing is going to change the fact though that she and her story will always be remembered and that she has definitely left a mark.

  • I am wondering if she donated the rest of her organs when she passed away on March 27, 2011. The two years that Eva lived, she lived more fully than most who do not know what life is. This reminds me of the security guard from India who saved $75,000 in two and a half years despite having made a meager wage of 12-14 dollars per hour with some overtime appreciating his chance to work in Canada and not wasting any money.

  • @Alexlougheed

I don't know if she did or was able to. I don't know the medical practice for someone with CF. Maybe it effects if the organs can be used in another person or not…I am not sure.

As for the security guard and the meagre wage...he got paid more then I do!!

  • Im 19 and my mother passed away 3 years ago this september from CF, she was only 36 2 weeks before...so this really hit a weak spot in my heart its very touching....thank u for sharing it :)

    And such a beautiful song!!

  • @MrRice101

I’m really sorry to hear about your mom. I can’t imagine how hard it must have been losing her.

The song is by Mindy Smith and she actually wrote it for her mom who I believe passed away from cancer. She did a great job at getting her emotions across through the song

  • I have been reading Eva's blog for years she is such a beautiful person... she makes everyone she comes in contacewith a sence of strength... WE LOVE YOU EVA... thank you for making this it was amazing

  • @mucusmandiee

  • Breathe Easy Eva. I'm sad that I didn't get to hear about your story until after your passing. I have read your entire blog and every video of yours. You are such an inspiration to the whole CF community. You have left the most amazing legacy. I lost my sister, cousin, many friends to CF. <3 <3 <3 Always Always Always

  • RIP <3

  • I wonder about playing Eric Clapton's Tears in Heaven and writing a parody about how her love will carry on because she can't carry on here on earth? The security guard cherrished his job and was greatful to be able to make this money in Canada been given a chance to work here dispite his lack of skills and humble background.

  • OMG Thats the saddest thing I ever did see I am sorry for the family, it makes me cry to watch this.

  • omg this is a really sad story like i want to cry

  • RIP Eva she seemed like such an angel.
