  • The new design for TL's are so fucking ugly.

  • @SASJACOB Bullshit. The VQ powered G is just as reliable if not more than the TL. The transmissions that Honda uses are often terrible, especially the autos. The TL is simply a fat-fwd-uninspired sedan.

  • @IrishChris1979 haha yea, I think most people hold that opinion :P To each his own :)

  • @SASJACOB

The only TL I like is the 2007-08 Type-S. I think that is one amazing car! I absolutely do not like the new TL. I thought I would get used to it like some cars... It's now in it's fourth year & I still think it's just as ugly as I did when I first saw it. Even my friends and family don't like it. My cousin is the only one who said it looks ok, a bit weird, but not bad. I do like the inside of it though. Overall, I think there's no comparison to the 3G TL, especially the TL-S.

  • @XenomorphLV426 SH-AWD is not FWD, and TL's have a 6 speed manual or 6 speed AT (2010+), which received great reviews. So that is half of your argument rendered pointless. In addition, go look up reviews its sporty for a sedan(305 hp), and good suspension. Besides, if you want truly inspired car don't buy a sedan. They are both reliable, but statistically and from experience, the TL is much more upmarket overall. (look at interior build quality, infiniti and nissan basically share interiors)

  • G35 was probably lighter in weight, and better geared. Whats rear end diff ratios on both cars? Curb weight? Who makes more torque \ what rpms? Not just horsepower wins. I've got no horse in this race, so to speak, so I'm not going to fanboy it up like this entire comment section looks like.

  • @imalwayskeepinitREAL Let me start off by saying you sound very educated in how you stress your point by offending the competition through biased answers. Anyone will attest to the renowned reliability of any Acura/Honda product, which in comparison to a Infiniti/Nissan is unmatched.True, any car is subject to mechanical fault, although much less prevalent on the TL, in respect to the G.This is supported by not only family experience with both cars, but reliability ratings from multiple sources.

  • @SASJACOB shut the fuck up TLs get mechanically problems too the G is just as good and will burn the gay asian car so stfu with that bs

  • @Scor0806 That doesn't mean they admitted to making an ugly car, that just means they had to adopt a more subdued styling persona. Most people I'm sure would say it is ugly, but Acura is a company so price influences a companies direction almost unilaterally. I'm not disagreeing with you, per se, but I like how Acura aimed to make a car that stands out/unique, so many companies are busy keeping it conservative to avoid a loss of market. Ie: Civic, (many Toyotas), etc. For sure, I'm a minority~

  • @SASJACOB actually Acura did realize how ugly it was only later...you don't notice the acura commercial of two tl's of how the new one look better than the old one?

  • @SASJACOB - No matter how ugly it is, somebody will claim to like it. So what's your point? Acura realized how ugly it was after the sales went into the shitter due to the new styling. That's why they quickly updated the front and back of the car in an attempt to make the car more appealing. They had a HUGE ad campaign to let people know that the car is less ugly now than before. Face it, the TL went from being a good looking sedan to one of the ugliest cars on the road for 2009 models
