Gods...the raw energy of those early days...it must have been something to be at one of those early shows. The boys all still have some measure of that energy, but they seem to have more control over it now...spreading that intensity out into 3 hour masterpiece shows rather than hour and a half face-melting bursts of angst and rage. And OH MY GOD all the drunks jamming on the stage with the band...that's awesome...Eddie finishing the song on super-drunk's shoulders...classic.
