News Update: Romanian Finance & Economy Ministers Replaced

BusinessWeek.com reports on Friday that Romanian Prime Minister Emil Boc has ejected Finance Minister Sebastian Vladescu and Economy Minister Adrien Videanu. The new Finance Minister is economist Gheorghe Ialomitianu and the new Economy Minister is the head of the Senate's budget and finance committee, Ion Ariton. "With these planned changes we aim to continue reforms and see Romania post economic growth in 2011," Prime Minister Boc told media. "We're going to use the experience of our nominated lawmakers gained while they were part of specialized committees in Parliament."
