COMFORT FURNACE - The major importer now 'Living Well,LLC'formerly 'Comfort Living'of Brookfield Mo. - Manufactured by Wells Electronics, previously sold as Comfort Zone heaters. Now Wells and Living Well will not honor the 3 year warranty on the heaters to do repairs. Now they want me to buy their new heater, what makes me think they will not defraud the public further and change their company and product names again?
I have a 40 year old, well insulated bungalow. The upper level: a narrow hallway connecting the kitchen/living room with 2 bedrooms and a bathroom. Heating the main level is not very inefficient. I set up the unit in the far corner of the house. It was only -4 outside at that time. When I read the 2 thermostats a few hours later, there was only a 1.5 degree difference across 35 feet and around a few corners!! I was impressed! I will buy another unit to heat my basement.
Now, this off the cuff looks great. But, like many items...only a review of real people who actually own one could influence me to buy one. Ive seen this product advertised somewhere else...back east Canada. So, if you own one can you tell us what YOU think about their product. Im thinking about it for my doublewide mobile home. RJ
