[GUIDE] How to remove XP Antispyware 2012 (MANUAL/Malwarebytes)

This guide will show you how to remove XP Antispyware 2012 from your computer MANUALLY and with Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware. Watch carefully!

To show your hidden files in Windows XP

To show file extensions in Windows XP:

LITE Guide for removing XP Antispyware 2012:

First, spot XP Antivirus 2012.

Go to C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Local Settings\Application Data

And you will see a hidden file with some random name (i did have qou.exe).

Now, open taskmgr.exe (Task Manager, Ctrl + Alt + Del) and stop that same process that you just did spot!

And then remove the file you did spot!

Now, go to HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.exe and delete everything EXCEPT PersistentHandler!

Then, go to HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\exefiles\shell\open\command and change (Default)'s value with this: "%1" %*

Now, go to http://www.malwarebytes.org, download Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware, Install it, launch it and do a full scan! Delete all viruses that it will found!

And good job! Your computer is fine again!
