...and this trout heart continues to beat for like 2 minutes, in his hand. The owner thought "oh how cool is this" but Amanda and Neil just looked in awe and thought it was the saddest thing, this tiny little fish heart beating long after it's been cut out. So they both decided then and there that she would write a song about it and he would write a short story. The way she told the story was great, hopefully someone posted it from the Ft Lauderdale show last night.

Short version of the story is she was up north staying with Neil Gaiman and he wanted to make this trout dinner.  So they go to this fish store where they have a huge tank of trout and they kill them, gut them and give you this fresh trout. The owner opens up his hand after he gives them the fish, to show them this tiny trout heart in the palm of his hand....

technically i could only read "Who Killed" and just assumed the rest was "Amanda Palmer"....me and my crazy wacky assuming of things....*leave it to beaver pose*....wow i really gotta stop that....newhoo, glad things are all fine cuz that means more songs are coming!! yaay!! and so wat if the keys are all scratched now. it gives the piano a "old and used" feeling to it!! i hear thats the new IN thing down south...*rolls eyes*...or you know, something i just made up now
