Yeah, alright, i love this band, bite me. They released the Guitar Pro tab for this (along with their playthrough) not even two some odd hours ago. Short, sweet, but still fun as hell to play.

Watch Julian and Sean go at it here:

And remember to pick up Elitist - Earth on Itunes today. NOW.

  • @RedneckChexMix Mess around with the decay and threshold settings on the noise gate.

My main setting has a threshold of 66 percent, and a Decay of 11 percent.

  • @XeroJager hey man i figured out how to record without getting staticy stuff on my guitar - but do you know of any way to get more sustain on things like palm muted breakdowns so that the guitar will ring out and not be cut off - taking out the noise gate is not a good choice - and if i turn up the distortion static starts coming in.

  • @XeroJager lol dude nice pic - that dog is happy ....but thanks for the info man im gonna try it out right now. ill get back to you. peace.

  • @RedneckChexMix The staticy popping and whatnot can be usually caused by putting too much gain on your guitar signal. On your pod, lower the amp gain by a significant amount, then add on a distortion module anywhere before your amp on your signal chain. My setup is -> Noise gate > Tube Screamer > Noise Gate > Amp (ENGL powerball, or the Angel P-Ball as it is in the interface) > Tube Compressor. I use two noise gates to keep the sound tight, and the gain on my amp is at 18.

  • @XeroJager nice tone btw man im still trying to dial in a sweet tone myself - it takes a while as you already know....

  • @XeroJager dude you might be the man im looking for -im recording with pod hd usb to computer - i get a staticy sound attached to guitar tracks - sounds almost like clipping which you seem to know about - cant figure out why - my volumes arent clipping - can you help me out man? how do i fix this?

  • @XeroJager :D

  • @HavxHHH Actually i'll do you one better. You'll see soon.

  • @XeroJager Sweet! (:

You should upload a cover with your current tone.

  • @HavxHHH i will admit that it takes a bit of playing around with to get a good tight tone that doesn't clip when you record, but when you find something it's super fucking sweet. My tone is MUCH different than when i recorded this video, and i'm super happy with it so far.
