@TheCitronjaune "Sugeng siang" is lit. "Safe day" a bit like French "Salut!" "Matur nuwun" (above) means "thank you." I only know Suprek from his music. It sounds like a stage name to me. Javanese normally only have one name: Suharto, Koentjaraningrat, but not Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY). "Black" is also unlikely as a Javanese surname. Suprek doesn't look "Indo" (mixed race). The Dutch were the colonial government, not the British (except for a bit in the Napoleonic wars).
