Why do people comment on a fighting style when they do not know anything about it? They never showed any ground fighting techniques for you to comment on how well this style will work on the ground. The sash is a peice of clothing and is used like a back brace when training, The new color code hase no traditional meaning. When I wear a black "uniform" I will wear a white sash, when I wear a grey "uniform" I will wear a yellow sash, Color is meaningless.

How is this applied in a self defense match? Good form of cardio to keep in shape but useless in a street fight. Most parents look into martial arts for their child//children as an anti-bullying method. However, I would rather invest in something more along the lines of aikido, judo, jiu jitsu, wrestling, or muay thai.

@thiefguy852 they dont have belts they have sashes. used for the same reason as a belt in karate but in my opinion, kung fu sashes look like ribbons because they are so thin. some use sashes some dont

@Akaoushi
It looks like Wushu to me. It's generally described as a floral Kung Fu. Great for teaching basics to kids, but generally impractical for adults.
