    Those look really interesting. Looks like they would work for square foot gardening as well. I especially like the idea that you put fabric over them and keep the bugs out!

  • I made shade for plants and protected them from the sun with spotshading parasols I found at ShadeDot.com. They're great. You just stick a ShadeDot in the ground or in a potted plant and it filters the sunlight and shades the plant during the hottest time of day. They look really nice too. I have about eight of them shading the plants on my deck.
