not bad. i think they have a very solid sound. but, i've since switched to an esp kirk hammett prewired pickguard w/ an emg 85 in the bridge. the bridge pup on the scn's was fantastic, hot and good for a lead tone. the out of phase positions were not great (imo). the neck was decent
