lets get something straight. iraq was not a war on 'terror,' and iraq did not have weapons of mass destruction. the reason why the us invaded iraq was to control the huge oil deposits they have. by removing saddam hussein the job was made easy. the us have done this many times in the past. they remove leaders and replace them with dictators in order to gain something. i.e in Venezuela when the us tried to kick out Chavez to control the oil.
