Other than the fact that any new Tsukamoto flick is always a big deal (for me, anyway), the music in this trailer is absolutely amazing (especially the last part). Does anyone know whether it's an extract from the original soundtrack, of if it is a piece from some other source...?

I agree the music during the last part was so amazing!!!! I was hooked immediately!!...does anyone know the song is from which artiste? Thanks in advance!

Jesus, that looks (and sounds) fantastic! I hugely enjoyed the first Nightmare Detective (as every other Tsukamoto film there is) and I'm really looking forward to this. I hope some film festival near my home town will show this in the next half year, or else I'll have to wait for the DVD...

We just launched our Asian premiere in Pusan this week and received huge responses. The next festival we've confirmed to attend is San Sebastian in Spain early next month. Wish you're there! Or let me know your location.

I bet you'll love the sequal than the first one. Thanks for your support.

I hope this is better than the last one. I like Shinya Tsukamoto, and I thought Haze was one of the most interesting horror films in recent years, so Nightmare Detective felt like a major step down. Admittedly the climax with the flurry of visions (alternating the focus between the nightmare detective, Tsukamoto's character, and the detective) was stunning, classic Tsukamoto, but the rest was not so good. I especially liked the flashbacks that Tsukamoto's character had.
