I bought a corsair SSD off of Newegg for $299.

This is the install process.

  • Nice setup!

I have a little question...I plan to buy a 13" MacBookPro and I also want to use 2 external screens. I only wonder if the graphics card is strong enough. Does everythink run still well when you switch to the weaker graphics card (I think it is the NVIDIA GeForce 9400M) in your MBP?

    Thank you very much :)

  • Yes... I use my black macbook in an extended display mode without any issue the new 13" macbook pro should be just fine in extended desktop mode.

  • Do you think that future Macbooks and iMacs will be built with the SSD?

  • Of course when the technology becomes cheaper they will become standard.... You can already purchase one with a SSD as an option...

  • I have owned pc laptop computers for ever, I know everything there is to know about pc computers. im thinking of switching to mac, What do you think? or anyone think

  • I would say go for it man! I to use to be a long time windows user and lover until I made the switch over 1 year ago. The machines are truly unbelievable... They are very intuitive and it just works flawlessly because the OS was made for the hardware...
