well, i dunno...for me the album solo is much more better than any live, Tommy was a great guitar player but this solo is not really impressive IMHO, but still I consider him and rest of the band as great musicians!

This is the melody of the Apocalypse and that's what counts. The woman will destroy everything .. and we know it ... but we do not mind, because we hear only "progress".

Who do you think you are to say who ruin which band ?
Just listen to the music, crybabies

Ritchie ,who?

@ArpeggioBear It got pitched up, I'm guessing because of the playback speed of the tape that it was transferred from.

Good performance, too bad that you can barely hear Tommy Bolin playing his guitar. Whoever was behind the soundboard for this show did a crappy job. Otherwise, not bad at all.
One of my fav Tommy Bolin solos; very creative guitar player.

I was LUCKY to have seen DP twice, '74 &'76?? Both shows were great! But in my opinion only, Bolin put on a wicked better show than Ritchie. Regardless, its easy to sit here 35 yrs later and criticize who played this way,or who sang lead better, etc.. All I know that when I was a teen in 70's, DP was THE baddest, kickass Rock band going. You KNEW when you were goin to one of their shows it was gona be GREAT! They were the band to see live, and they were awesome in my opinion, just fuckin awesome.
