Only the third time I've played this game. So you get an early impression.

  • This was very successful in the UK and became the first Sega Master System game to get in the all-formats top-ten sales chart. I love the SMS version and also have it for the C64, Atari 2600 and had it for the Atari XE when I had a 130XE many years ago (wish I still had it).

    A real classic.

  • I love this port of Rampage! I had this years ago when I was 6 and I also played my cousin's NES version at the time. This is proof the Sega did what Nintendon't in some cases :)

  • Always played this in the arcade back in the day. I've of course seen this port around. I would like to have a copy but only if I can find it cheap.

  • I agree, usually the master system are in a better shape... however, I was always a master system fan... not that there was anything wrong about the NES.

  • im kind of digging threw your channel today. Great vid here rampage is a super fun game. I also wanted to say your channel is great

  • i want the sega master system

  • I agree about the cases-Nintendo didn't even make plastic game cases until the Game Cube. And the graphics are great; I love the Master System!

  • Never played this on the arcade machine but started on it with the C64 version, pretty close to this. When RS came with the CoCo 3 version I got the pak... not the best port available (no music, and several cut-scenes removed from the original).

  • Thanks for sharing :) fantastic game, looking foward to picking this one up :D

  • Great video Marlinlee. I love this version the best. Its better than the NES version, the graphics are better than the NES too IIRC. :)
