@Azone01 No these guys were from Memphis Tn. Produced by Allen Jones who produced the Barkays. Like I told someone before Allen Jones was a master mind. His way of thinking was if there is a song HOt on the radio take elements from it and put it right back out there, so I guss that's why you thought Prince/Minneapolis sound.

Were these guys produced by Prince or Morris Day?!! The begining kinda sounds like the ending keyboard solo to "The Walk" (just before Morris talks to "Grace" aka Vanity)!
