let me give you some tips ( sorry for the english, i am mexican bassits,)
1ºdo not hit the string, you have a sonu like a slap
2º in the chorus the playing is continous, do not let to play the strings
3º try to no watch you bass, you are a musician, you must know where are the freets xD
that's all i have to say, you are good, just practice more and keep rocking
