Shooting my remingtonR25 308. wasnt happy with it in its original configuration. installed dpms SASS 18" barrel, Troy extreme rail and geissle trigger, AAC brake. Shoots much more to my liking. It got alot heavier though.

  • Just used krylon spray paint. Shot a base with tan and then grabbed some grass and used it as a stencil. The original finish is still under there. I don't really care much if it wears off.

  • I'm zeroed at a 100yds and then I dial up for range.

  • the sass barrel is a straight bull barrel under hanguards then .920 at the gas block to the the threaded muzzle, which is 5/8-20.

  • No it didn't. I ended up using the pri barrel nut wrench.

  • do you like the remington better than a dpms?

  • good job

  • @tech40799 how did you remove the factory paint before you sprayed it

  • That gun looks good without the gay hunting camo that it comes with. How did you paint yours?

  • stick with KAC parts, but didnt changed the barrel yet... is SASS is heavier then original fluted 20''er?
