@utubeworms "It was, of course, a lie what you read about my religious convictions, a lie which is being systematically repeated. I do not believe in a personal God and I have never denied this but have expressed it clearly. If something is in me which can be called religious then it is the unbounded admiration for the structure of the world so far as our science can reveal it."
Albert Einstein - 1954
It's true that he never called himself an atheist, nevertheless he didn't believe in god.

@emilyBerlin ummmm he believed in nature thus he's a pantheist. pantheism is a doctrine that identifies God with the universe, or regards the universe as a manifestation of God. I don't see how you got one to the other.
-
@TheMarkster1957 nice view you got there, just goes to show how loving your god is. Assuming your god is real rather than the thousands of others.

i agree with 100% of these quotes! i am a proud atheist! I am tired of christians/ catholics to constantly talk to me about God! I let them talk and express their opinion, but whe. it is my turn to speak my mind i fin myself being attacked by offending comments. why can't people just accept the fact other people think religion is nonsense? doest it hurt them? no

Einstein was not an atheist. In fact, if was his stubborn belief in God that prevented him from venturing into Quantum mechanics.

@utubeworms "You may call me an agnostic, but I do not share the crusading spirit of the professional atheist..." -- Einstein.
He said it. He didn't like hard atheism, but he was comfortable with being called agnostic.

Helen Keller was most certainly not an Atheist.

@ltmaniac Thank you for pointing this out. I must have taken a website's claim at face value. She indeed had a book published called "My Religion" which was later published as "Light in My Darkness." I suppose someone thought it would be nice to take Keller's ONE quote expressing doubt and use it as proof of her irreligion.
