@JDMusicTuition There was a Wilhelm Frederich Ernst Bach who was composing around 1800. He was the last one AFAIK. Are you familiar with the actor Kyle McLachlan? He claims to be a direct descendant of JS, on his mother's side.

My favorite of the Bach sons, listen to his concertos .. I prefer the major key fast movements, this guy was the most inventive composer of the 18th century in my opinion.

@gjc82071 J.C. Bach was the English Bach if I am not mistaken. I think the sons of the sons of the sons of J.S. Bach had pretty big shoes to fill themselves as the line seems to have died out there.
