@goldwinberry 1ac doesnt have single side seats therefore it has to be 2ac. & yes both were 2ac cars. except former one only has curtains & later has door.
which looks odd to me. but surely both are 2ac.

@sapatrani in a second ac an old man can travel for even months, dont worry. take courage, IR wouldnt let you down i am sure :D and... happy journey

This train is actually great and 2 AC class is very comfortable. I would highly recommend it.
