@fr8542 I can only partially read SOME Mandarin, but without pinyin, I have difficulty. I'm more well versed in Japanese (and some Korean). Anyway, I was wondering if there were any documentaries regarding China during the occupation by various Western civilizations. And I would rather it focus on the national Chinese themselves rather than the foreigners, but meh.

This is a really good show. It helped me out rather tremendously.

@kirby28645 Very late reply but yeah it's the Qing dynasty. You don't read Chinese do ya? :) It's in the title of the clip, apparently the series is all about the Qing emperors harem.
