I always felt like Carver took Bodie's death too lightly in this scene. They seemed to have a mutual respect for one another in all the episodes before, but Carver seems pretty apathetic about the whole thing.

@88naka it had nothing to do with him being "natural police" , McNulty was feeling guilty for Bodie's death, that's the reason why he re-joined Major Crimes Unit (MCU), he was working as a patrolman prior to Bodie getting killed, look at what he tells Poot "I'm trying to do right for your boy". Stringer and Marlo was two different targets, McNulty didn't really give a damn about Marlo til he put the hit on Bodie.
