MSM: Jake Tapper vs. Jay Carney

Alyona takes some time out to shine a light on something that happened yesterday at the White House press briefing which should make everyone in the mainstream media stop and think. White House press secretary Jay Carney praised journalists that have been putting themselves into dangerous situations to bring us the truth. Specifically, he was referring to the two journalists killed in Syria, Marie Colvin and Ochlik. Let's also not forget that Anthony Shadid died in Syria just last week. These journalists deserve respect and praise. ABC's senior White House correspondent Jake Tapper took the opportunity to call out the administration on its double standard, of praising journalists who go abroad and yet waging a war on whistleblowers and journalists here at home.

Maybe this has not been made clear to you, but "main-stream media" has always supported Obama. If you take a look at 2008,2009,2010, 2011, media has always favored Obama in not reporting certain events as indepth as they would report bad Republican behavior. Take a look at Anthony Weiner. Bryan Williams chose NOT to report that issue.

Obama has praised journalists and The President himself is smart enough to know how important journalism is to this country. You talk about 'The Media'? What are you?
