Window Farming

I decided to spend my Sunday afternoon constructing a Window farm at the spur of the moment. This is my experience following the directions from the windowfarms.org website. It works.

Oh, I also had trouble with the top. Used a series of wire ties to aim the tube straight down.

Nice job! I used the same design, but mounted everything to a dowel and have the dowel and the hose going into the reservoir, so the bottles all line up straight (though I don't think I attached the bottles very straight. I have the same issue with the Net Cups. I may resort to your solution, or possibly cut the cups. Waiting for a response on windowfarms,org.... Next, I have to find seeds. Not easy in December in New York ;)

Great Vid, I've read you need to cover the bottom tank with tape also to stop funky stuff growing in there (like you've done with the plants)
