Chris Crutcher Book Talk

Chris Crutcher writes books for and about teenagers. The characters in his books deal with real issues of life: friends, parents, fitting in, and relationships, as well as some heavier stuff like friends in mental hospitals, racism and death.

The great thing about Crutchers books is that they have strong yet realistic characters who are humorous and frank with their feelings. Yeah, there is hard stuff in life, but you gotta deal.
