@UristMcgee to an extent i agree. however, i think there are some exceptions; nile, heaven shall burn, carcass, job for a cowboy, born of osiris etc.

that stuff is far less recognised and while it is technically deathcore, it leans heavily towards underground death metal.

@darkthrone741 dude you'll be happy to know that the MM is virtually dead. you get some people trying to revive it and incite attacks but they are among the small minority of ex-MM members who never grew up. and if the metal militia are still around somewhere, then they certainly aren't the flaming legion they used to be.

And, I listen to music for the music, energy, and emotion. energy and a great sound is found in a lot of metal, and in some sub-genres of metal, it has a hell of a lot of emotion. thank you "deathcoreisnotmetal", but we listen to metal because we think it's good, there's just some ppl that are obsessed enough to troll pop videos because it's popular, i only disliked a few pop videos on another account that i deleted because that was my first time listening to it, and i didn't like it. goodbye!

I don't like pop, metal is kind of my life (I have a band that plays a combination of punk rock and heavy metal that is the only thing I have time to do), but I don't troll like an idiot on videos that aren't even worth my time. :p
