The best versions I know of regarding "Lowdown" are on the DVD, "To Tulsa and Back ... On Tour with J J Cale." It's a great documentary and has BOTH an acoustical and fast "concert version" of "Lowdown." Not to be missed!

I think a live version is on the 'To Tulsa & Back' DVD which features performances from his 2004 US tour. It was possibly taken down because it was taken from a commercially available DVD? Anyway, the DVD is well worth buying.

A faster version of Cale's Lowdown was removed from You Tube for violation of some sort. I cannot find it anywhere. It was a live concert, with a female bandmember who played guitar and harmonized with Cale on parts of the song. I would love to find it anywhere on the web or even if it was on an album to purchase. Any thoughts?
