Me and Liam go pike fishing on the river ouse for the first time with pleasing results.
I know the video is short but it is our first time pike fishing so we were focusing on unhooking the fish safely and just taking pictures.
I hope you enjoyed it and we will be going again soon :)

Liked that vid.
I just started fishing again after 27yrs and someone told me that there is a stretch of the Ouse at Ely that's Free fishing. Is this the stretch that you fished?
If so, where's the best place to park a car please?
Also.. the rig you showed, did you make the trace yourself?
I never got round to Piking much 27yrs ago, but I fancy a go now.
If you could do a short vid on how to build that trace, that'd be dandy !

@SONGSTICKS Yes the river ouse stretch in the Ely town centre is free fishing - you can park on the road next to it for free too :). I'm afraid I did not make the trace - my friend made it for me but i will see if he if he fancies making a video!
The stretch holds pike, perch, bream, roach, dace and even the odd carp!
