Just one SATA Cable? That's it? what about the EIDI? Do we need it if we already have it plugged in another drive?

pre-built computers look all shiny and smexy from the outside, but once you open you realize you just got ripped off.

Thanks... one other question. I have read in a few forums that most people have problems with Blu-Ray playback with the software that usually comes with the 546. Did you have any problems with playback? What software do you recommend?

Where do you connect the SATA cable?

@MrSAboy210 You should have an extra SATA port on your motherboard. Check with your owners manual for the location. Some PCs only come with two SATA ports so you might have to make a decision on which media drive to keep connected.

They do not make IDE Blu-Ray drives. This video example is only for those machines that do not have a Blu-Ray drive and have the space and connections available.

I use both Power DVD and the Dell Media Direct without any issues. The processor and RAM usually are the cause of bad playback, not the software from my experience.

The typical Blu-Ray drive does not write discs. You will have to purchase the more expensive models for writing discs.
