@MagnusonX Thanks for comment and upload...Only heard Rampal once ...in Dublin in the late 1970s or early 80s....The venue was Trinity College an the conductor was the late Andre Prieur who had been principal flute withe The Radio Eireann Symphony in Dublin for many years. Prieur, himself a Frenchman was taught by Moyse.

May Monsieur Rampal rest in piece. I grew up listening to his recordings and modeled my flute playing after him.

This piece is so difficult to play in tune!

A very beautiful movement. One that requires a great deal of control to make this piece sound beautiful.
