@mleeannwellstood Perhaps you know what CD contains these songs that I heard him do. "Take me out to the ball game", "Bill Bailey" and "Battle Hymn Of The Republic"?

@ironwallful You can order a few albums at Amazon. I got "this is the one" and "live at the sticky". "This is the one" has many grand versions of classic stride songs such as Carolina shout, If dreams come true, Vipers and an incredible version on the "The mule walk".

If you are his daughter, you have much to be proud of. I became a Wellstood fan the first time I heard him in the early 90s, unfortunately after he was gone. A truly under-appreciated genius. He could do it all -- Ragtime to bop.
Do you happen to know if South Amboy Express is his composition?
Lullaby of Birdland is sensational.

@mleeannwellstood i know he did some work with dick hyman but is there any other recordings of himself alone wich are available?

Thanks for posting this! I loved my Father very much and it's great to see him at his best and doing what he loved most. He was a brilliant man and I'm proud to be his daughter.
