@cjdavda A decent poly finish isn't bad at all. The problem is when they get untrained underpaid workers to schlop a quarter inch of poly onto the guitar like they do with Epiphones, Squiers, and other similar budget brands. When applied properly a poly finish can be quite thin and still durable.

Its hard for most people to get over the poly thing (I wouldn't buy any other manufacturers poly guitars), but play one in person and you wont notice. The poly on my 2002 is so thin that it follows the grain like a 20 year old LP. Its awesome that they do nitro now, but I wouldn't compare their poly to the half inch thick armored shell applied to mexican strats.

did he say nitrocellulose or polyester? really?

@DontRunBand i totally agree. i would vote this up more than once if i could

A nice series. What's the two lines in between the two pickup cavities? I think the guitar would look better without them.

Did they use the same stain for the second coat?

It'd be cool to see the factory where the SEs come from

"...hey Richard, that Dragon was supposed to be RED, not yellow!" Oh well, there goes $25,000
This shouldn't be on YouTube because it's basically pornography.

As a PRS guitar owner, I feel these videos are a great form of communication. It only makes my mouth water even more and adulation booster. =)
