the gear shift lunge you noticed is typical problem for this generation of Audi (B8) with 8 speed transimission. They programmed shifting logic to be more fuel efficiency focused so it is always trying to upshift. In slow traffic it feels like jerky. this is one of the things I hate about this car. Also a little bit of oil consumption is expected when new (before first oil change). This happened on my previous BMW as well. If it continues to burn oil after 5000 miles then it;s not normal

Oil is an Audi thing. I add 1qt. each 3k miles. But having a bug in a light. that sucks.

It's normal for a diesel engine to consume a bit more oil

Good things
- Steering without any play and very sharp.
- Suspension absolutely great.. still feels like driving a new car
No so good:
- Steering wheel still feels half way between power and manual steering. I mean very heavy to turn as compared to a BMW for example.
- Computer takes 1-3 seconds to decide when you press the throttle on a roundabout :( .. sometimes you are almost embarrassed.

Bads
- Sun Shade hook broke without much abuse to it
- Boot lever cover broken
- Both reversing Lights changed 3 times, all the rest perfect so far.
- Auto transmission on cold mornings... you can feel the gear changes noticeably.
- Diesel Engine vibrations have started to be noticeable on the dashboard :( they go away when you turn on the Air-con
