  • I put my newest exhaust update video in the video response spot. You should check it out. Tell me what you think.

  • @djclue1987 How stark a contrast was this to having the stock muffler on there? Do you feel the eliminated muffler made it too loud, or pretty mean? As i am sorta diggin the sound, but of course a vid. can't do justice, which is why I am asking your honest opinion.

  • @dalilkidwiz Sorry my bad the comment by pennyfamily2009 was my comment, but I was signed in as a different user.

  • what year stang is that i have a 3.8L v6 2000 stang looks identical and thinking to take my muffler off think itll sound similar i really like the sound of yours

  • @shalainandcrew Its a 00' as well. In this clip I dont have any cats either. I have another video that shows what it would sound like without a muffler and the cats still in.

  • @djclue1987 is it the one where u put it on the ground behing it parked in a parking spece? and also I heard that I could get fined for taking my muffler off because I'd be disturbing the peace....?

  • @shalainandcrew yeah thats video im talking about. It will show you what it would sound like with no muffler but all 4 cats still in the mid pipe. As far as getting fined it would depend on where you live and what the cops are like in your area. I never had a problem here in Utah with a wide open set up but it was too noisy for me.

  • @dalilkidwiz In this video the stang is pretty much straight piped with no cats. I would say it was a cool sound for about a week and then I had to make some longer trips and the sound is deafening inside. What I finally ended up doing is removing the cats and putting a flow master muffler on it and I thought it sounded really good, It had a deeper throat sound not too raspy. The video link is right below this in the video response section. You should check it out.

  • i did this same thing to mine and my manifold busted because of the extra stress on the flange i would put it back on if i were you

  • @djclue1987 Yea that sounds better man. Nice! Check out some vids of my new Stang.
