Levi's Wish

We first heard Levi's Wish in August of 2007 while listening through songs in our manager's office trying to find our next single. As Howard pushed play on the CD player he said, "Guys here's an incredible song that no artist will ever record." When the song had finished playing, Ben and I could barely breath because of the emotion that the song evoked in us. We both just sat there with our hands in our faces trying to process message of Levi's Wish. We knew then and there that we wanted to record it but we also wanted our manager's opinion about taking this risk. He was simply said, "Radio will never play it. It could end your career."




We decided to go ahead and record a simple guitar/vocal of Levi's Wish as a work tape before going into the studio and doing full production on the song. However, after we finished the guitar/vocal, we felt that this simple recording had captured the sound, feel, and emotion of the message in Levi's Wish.




Our hope is that everyone who listens to Levi's Wish can truly hear the powerful message in this song. After much thought and prayer, and after weighing all the possible negative ramifications of recording this song, we both agreed that no matter the outcome we would always regret it if we did not record Levi's Wish.
