  • why can't you talk about the notebooks rather than just wave them around and play elevator music? Not very useful.

  • Thanks for the advice, we will try it on another video :)

  • I am buying this wind not later July 18, 2008. Please contact me 09228285918. I am looking for the best deal. Together with it I am buying DVD writer (external) for it and optical mouse. If if possible, I would like to upgrade its 3cell to 6 cell.

  • Please contact us via our website

  • bla bla bla

asus eee 1000 comes with 40gb SOLID STATE and Intel Atom!!!

  • Asus EEE PC 901 (1.1Kg) : Intel Atom 1.6GHz

    Asus EEE PC 1000 (1.3Kg) : Intel Atom 1.6GHz

    MSI Wind (1Kg) : Intel Atom 1.6GHz

    HP mini-note 2133 (1.27kg): Via C7 1.2GHz - 1.6GHz

    ---------

EEE PC's SSD is nice, but the speed of it is nothing to rave about, I'd prefer a HDD until "REAL" SSD price drop :P

  • @GoldfishFilms Seriously, I never heard that brand before.

Have you tried it before? is it good?

  • @voteboo I'd rather have an msi over an eee anyday, if you cant afford the msi, go for the rebadged advent which is avaliable for 80 pounds pre owned here in the uk on ebay

  • 901's by far the best between the two of them. Battery life, performance and size are some of the key words you look for in both hardwares; netbooks.901 battery life by default is:8.30Hrs. MSI battery life by default is:2 hrs or $100 bucks extra if you want the extended battery or 6 cells battery.Eeepc is 2 to 3 inchs smaller in size compare to the hardware of the MSI.The performance is basically the same since they both have a n260 Atom Intel CPU. Storage solely depends on your needs and money.

  • probably just a full size notebook, its pretty hard if not impossible to get modern games to work decent on these

  • Hmmm...... Hey, so if I wanna game, would going for a netbook, or a notebook, or whatever they're called (The tiny ones, lol =P) be a bad idea? Or not? Because you said that you played games on it. Or should I lean towards a lapop? =\ Please help! =O

  • MSI Wind is the best.

  • Overclocking is when you run the processor at a higher frequency than it was set at from the factory. This does not void your warranty and is actually built in to some versions of the wind (i had to flash my bios to do it, but my friends did it from the factory) Overclocking it made it noticeably faster and play games better

  • i just purchased the msi wind and i'm not sure what overclocking is or how to do it. Does this void your warranty?

How does it help your machine?

  • FUK NO MY DELL WILL SMASH ON DAT

  • Acer? yuck there like the great value of pc brands. Msi wind owns netbooks since you can overclock it and have 2 gig of ram.
