Hardcore Parkour - Dayz 1.7.5.1

The new Dayz patch has a very cool new feature added, HARDCORE PARKOUR!

Easy to do just make sure you have a weapon in the primary slot, and press V while running. can see myself really enjoying this, and if its any indication as to what the standalone holds, look the fuck out.

Can servers disable this feature? Just tried it and I just got the normal vault. I'll try some other servers now.

i have noticed one or two that are updated but don't seem to have this enabled, most seem to have it, just make sure you have main weapon of some sort equipped.

Maybe so but the community updates made me not want to play DayZ at all. I closed out 3 servers and trashed 20 CD keys. I got to meet Rocket at PAX east, I can tell you the game is going in the right direction. And I am just going to wait for that Standalone.

The upgraded vault in the Standalone looks better. Not sure if you saw the recent dev blog. You should check it out bro, I think you would be happy with it.

Exactly, its not GTA its a simulation. Therefor breaking your legs is part of the realistic simulation of dayz when jumping off a building or getting shot in the legs. Also as i said the although the back flip is unrealistic, it works well for the time being. Also i have only encountered this feature on 2 servers out of the many i play on.

Yah and with DayZ now it is pretty much instant. I am just waiting for standalone, kind of tired of everyones interpretation of DayZ.

1-2 seconds to get back up? It takes the character atleast 4.5 seconds to get back to normal running speed. That's realistic.

Would have never approved an action in his game you could exploit and roll over and over and over and over buildings. Get over it, this aint GTA, this is a simulation and rolling around on the ground for an hour avoiding a broken leg is crap no matter how you sell it to me. FUCK OFF

Please man I don't stand in his way. I have supported him 100% from buying 30 copies of arma2 hosting 4 servers and been playing the mod since April. I don't do private hive cause it ruins dayz and his vision. This update is not from Rocket but from the community for Dayz "ALPHAMOD" not standalone. two totally different things right now. Rocket ditched Dayz alpha and gave it to the community to manage. Him being a simulator fan and not a arcade fan like halo.

Player control in GTA is just terrible as always, sure cars and such work accurately. I am just sayin I would love to watch you roll around like that cause after the first roll it would take you atleast 1 to 2 seconds to get back up and do it again. I don't mind it being in the game it just needs to be toned down.
