on metv i dream of jeannie...the original color shows have the SCREEN GEMS LOGO INTACT, then the SONY logo.....I Think it depends WHO does the transfers.

they basically air the colorized episodes but the color is drained to Greyscale

the version you are seeing on MeTV are the colorized versions desaturated made by Sony in 2000 after people complained about the colorization

As for logo plastering I am going to assume they have DVD prints of some episodes

METV shows it ib black and white yet still has the plastered colored opening in black and white.....why do they do that???

in 1992 Sony remastered the series and took out the original intro and replaced it with a black & white Season 3 intro

then in 1999 they had the black & white episodes of Bewitched and I Dream of Jeannie colorized
